Posts on anime/manga fangirlism won’t be random; they’ll be selective and most probably be subject to my whims. I’ve come up with a plan to let you all in on what keeps a yuppie (our own definition of the word) like me from going overboard/over bored with obsessing about characters or plots of anime shows or mangas I’ve already watched/read, am watching/reading, or will watch/read.
Let’s face it, watching anything but reel life on realtv is also a great source of entertainment, and if you’re being an escapist and just want to forget you’re giving up endless hours of your life working for people who really don’t give a damn about your well-being, then you’re better off spending the rest of your time being productive by entertaining yourself with anime and manga. (Breathe out…)
As systematic as I’d like to be with “reviewing” elements of some anime shows and mangas to be featured in Yuppie, I won’t. That’s just going to take the fun away from watching and reading. I’m going to single out elements (mostly plot, setting, and characters) that I found amusing or annoying in an anime or manga, and will be commenting on those instead.
So there. [My] Fun begins with the next installment of my fangirlisms.
