It’s been a while since I’ve watched a Korean drama, the last one that I watched wasn’t that interesting to me. I’m not actively watching dramas may it be Taiwanese, Korean or even locally-made ones. I tend to be picky on what to watch because I’m tired of those rehashed plots that are boring for me. Like Autumn’s Concerto, I accidentally got into watching this drama as well. I’m not really looking for something to watch but then Personal Preference’s plot seemed interesting so I’ve decided to give it a try. more…

THE DISAPPEARANCE OF HARUHI SUZUMIYA HAS APPEARED IN SCREENSHOTS! Okay, first let’s calm down while I breathe through a paper bag; at this rate I may have an asthma attack at any second. All right, I’m afraid some of my mental faculties have shut down to make way for girlish fangirl screeching and general swooning so please bear with me.
You know I leave Rica with most of the fangirlism in this website (God knows she has enough for an entire basketball team), but right now the gushing fangirl in me has threatened all my other personalities with a megaphone, and thus there will be no peace until this post has been let out. Yes, I’m one of those fans who hasn’t given up on Haruhi even after the Endless Eight debacle/troll.

Meteor Garden was the first Taiwanese idol drama that captured the hearts of many people all over the world. F4 and Barbie Hsu became famous because of this show, they even went here for a visit and their concert was jam packed with fans. I also became a fan of this show and watched the whole series including Meteor Garden 2 (which was very draggy). Jerry Yan was the favorite among the fans maybe because he was the male lead so it naturally follows that more people will notice and like him. I can say that Van Ness was the least popular among the group because of his mediocre acting and difficulty with the Chinese language. more…
