So the last time we went out of town, our flight out was unceremoniously cancelled. Thankfully, we were spared the nightmare of rebooking and all that – Cebu Pacific moved us to an earlier flight and then graciously gave us free one way tickets for any domestic flight. That led to a choice of where to go next. We chose between two Mindanao destinations, and ended up choosing Davao City for the next leg of our Yuppie domestic tour.

I wanted to bake something different and preferably simple and that’s when I thought of making my own crackers. As I browse through different websites for a recipe, I’ve decided to make cheddar crackers. The reason is simple, who doesn’t love cheese?

This recipe was adapted from here.

Last year, we bought a couple of coupons from a group deal site for a relatively unknown resort in Calatagan, Batangas called Puesto del Sol. After a roundabout 9 months of rescheduling (and getting scared because of bad reviews of the deal site MetroDeals), we finally went there while Bagyong Butchoy was traipsing across the country. Writing articles then submitting it to article directories is a good way to get targeted traffic to your website and one of the most popular article directory sites is EzineArticles.com. Ask any internet marketer about this site and I’m 100% sure that they know it.

The are different author levels in EzineArticles.com and I’ve recently reached the Platinum Level Expert Author. This status allows me to submit an unlimited number of articles and these articles get approved relatively faster. However, there’s more that I didn’t know I would be receiving.

It’s been a while since I’ve watched a Korean drama, the last one that I watched wasn’t that interesting to me. I’m not actively watching dramas may it be Taiwanese, Korean or even locally-made ones. I tend to be picky on what to watch because I’m tired of those rehashed plots that are boring for me. Like Autumn’s Concerto, I accidentally got into watching this drama as well. I’m not really looking for something to watch but then Personal Preference’s plot seemed interesting so I’ve decided to give it a try. Read the rest of this entry »

Autumn's Concerto

Meteor Garden was the first Taiwanese idol drama that captured the hearts of many people all over the world. F4 and Barbie Hsu became famous because of this show, they even went here for a visit and their concert was jam packed with fans. I also became a fan of this show and watched the whole series including Meteor Garden 2 (which was very draggy). Jerry Yan was the favorite among the fans maybe because he was the male lead so it naturally follows that more people will notice and like him. I can say that Van Ness was the least popular among the group because of his mediocre acting and difficulty with the Chinese language. Read the rest of this entry »

Yuppie Journals: Updates at last!Well, as much as I’d like to say that the reason for us not being able to update earlier was because we’ve been terribly busy, I’d have to admit that I was being lazy. An incredible indolence had possessed me and as of this writing, it’s still clinging persistently onto my back. I haven’t been half as productive as I was during the first week and if you’ve ever tried risking anything in your life before, you’d know the feeling I’m about to describe. It’s the uneasy sloshing in the stomach that you can’t throw up, the solidifying trepidation in your bones you can’t shake off that comes only when you first glimpse Failure rearing its ugly head in the horizon before you.

Internet Marketing 101So far, I’ve given a brief introduction of what internet marketing is so feel free to check out what I’ve talked about before. This time, I’ll be giving you some basic pointers that will help you on your journey towards earning income online through internet marketing. Internet Marketing Basics That You Should Know

Author: Nancy S | Filed under: Nancy S., Random

Internet Marketing 101 - YuppieUniverse.comI’ve been constantly searching for a way to earn money online since I discovered the Internet. At first, I was logging on to the Internet for school research. Somehow, I stumbled upon information that tells me I can work online. The offer was tempting, all I have to do is to pay a certain fee and then start doing simple typing assignments. I will get paid in dollars and that time, the dollar exchange rate was starting to sky rocket. The best thing is that I get to set my own schedule and I can work full time at home. It’s everyone’s dream to be able to stay at home and work, you don’t have to worry about traffic or getting up early anymore. So I got hooked to the offer, I signed up and logged in to the site.

Yuppie Journals: Days Two, Three, Four, and Five

We’re back and as you may have guessed (If you need a recap, click here), I was buried in work by Tuesday and didn’t manage to update until today. I grossly miscalculated on my ability to be an article factory like the old days; I didn’t put into consideration what might happen during my transition from being a total lazy ass to an industrious chinchilla. Imagine it: somebody who’s been lying around the house for a year suddenly gets taken to a labor concentration camp. Wait, that’s a bad image.

Crazy Turtle DayWhew. Day One of World Domination has come to a close – yep, at 2AM. Entirely my fault actually, since my crazy insomnia prevented me from sleeping last night, then I finally lost consciousness at around 11AM and rose from the dead at 6PM. I have insane sleeping habits, what can I say? We did agree on work hours (I picked 10AM-6PM while the Overlord decided on 1PM-sawa), but seeing as I technically slept through my entire work day, I had to make up for the hours lost and so here we are.
