Thoughts are pretty much like falling stars; they occur almost always randomly, they are there then they aren’t, and most people think there is some measure of wonder in them. The fleetingness of random thoughts is where its magic holds, I think, and for that reason Rica and I have resolved to record some of our random thoughts. It may be so we can alleviate some of the boredom (meaning we’re attempting to convince ourselves that our lives are not boring in our heads at least), so we can put some seemingly pointless thoughts in order to find some sort of pattern in our mental processes, or maybe it’s so we can try to invent a sort of magic for ourselves. At any rate, we’ve collected our random thoughts for the week (the ones we could catch) and posted them here.

Rica’s Random Thoughts on Disturbing Robot Machinations and Kidnapping

If you have to wear black leather pants, make sure you’re either 1) a rockstar, or 2) gay. Adam Lambert is the only exception.

@the annoying bitch at the reception area: can’t she shut up while she waits for her unrequited love to pass by and ignore her?????

val: there are only three things i appreciate in life: art, music and food.
me: would you be able to appreciate art and music if you’re already dying from hunger?

(not mine) val: how many summers have i missed? yaaaaak. drama. bullshit.

In my dream, robot guy was made to choose between “no love” or “robot love” (he gets a robot girl). He chooses the second option and partners up with robot girl. I think just so he could get some. How do robots get some anyway? @_@

Having good hair, a good pair of shoes, and eye-catching clothes will not change the fact that your attitude and face are so fugly. *Having a bad day*

i try my best not to be completely useless.

i don’t know what they told you kid, but it’s so not cool to pass out on national television.

an ode to loserdom: the only thought making me happy these days is looking at isla fisher’s picture in definitely, maybe.

i realized that every time i watch mr. darcy’s first proposal in pride and prejudice, i unconsciously hold my breath.

no, no. a thousand times, no.

random thought: why is it that people can’t be found on YM anymore? seems like they can’t be bothered to log in to instant messengers, but they seem to be perfectly online on facebook. XD

a not so cheery thought: the movie avatar is depressing. if you thought it was inspiring, think again. it’s depressing enough to realize that the love of your life is somebody you’ll have to find in a sea of a gajillion people, how much more deflating is it to realize that he/she isn’t even on the same planet, never mind not even the same species? and they haven’t even invented hyperdrive yet! you feel that? that’s despair.

i can feel my cool slipping. fast.

and then they were never heard from again.

i kid you not.

i need to learn to put up with life’s little annoyances better. know those people who tell you what they think at the very nanosecond the thought appeared in their tiny brains regardless of the toxic level of offensiveness (then they act completely bewildered when people call them bigots)? i realize they can’t turn it off – and euthanasia would mean you’d have to touch them.

wait, i’m having a flashback.

this just occurred to me: why is it that fate seems to be the only one who always gets what she wants?

sheer terror is a great teacher; unfortunately, most of the lessons are in hindsight and by the time you’ve thoroughly learned what it’s been trying to teach you, a huge glinting knife/axe/chainsaw is already unpleasantly on its way into slicing your favorite kidney.
