Whew. Day One of World Domination has come to a close – yep, at 2AM. Entirely my fault actually, since my crazy insomnia prevented me from sleeping last night, then I finally lost consciousness at around 11AM and rose from the dead at 6PM. I have insane sleeping habits, what can I say? We did agree on work hours (I picked 10AM-6PM while the Overlord decided on 1PM-sawa), but seeing as I technically slept through my entire work day, I had to make up for the hours lost and so here we are.
Aside from the work hours, the Overlord and I also set up a web-based groupware site so we can update the tasks we’ve assigned to ourselves. Groupware is very useful for severely disorganized people like me. It helps in keeping track of work progress and serves as a reminder for the tasks that have yet to be done. Today was pretty productive, if I do say so myself; the Overlord manned the tech, research and backlinking stuff while I handled the content side of the operations and the overhaul for this site.
If you want the blow by blow, the Overlord’s achievement list for the day includes setting up a website for a technology niche, monetizing with CPA, initial backlink building to get the site indexed, and submitting a health related article to EZA (eZine). I spent my day writing and learning about the subjects I needed to write about. By the end of the day, I had two health-related articles, two tech-related articles, and more useless information to clog my brain with. I also finally managed to change the YuppieUniverse site’s theme, though it isn’t final yet since the shade of orange brings images of a certain presidentiable.
If you were wondering where Rica was during all of these, she was in the office. When she finally got home to look at website themes, her brain was too fuzzy to process information and more importantly, color schemes.
